Up to 10 IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filters, each one with optional band saturation and dynamic equalization (compression, gating)

Each filter can be set to allpass, providing detailed equalization and serial dynamic control

(i.e.: full-band-gate -> full-band-compressor -> equalizer -> de-esser -> multiband compressor).

"Brackets" mode replaces the EQ with a set of parallel filters (with optional allpass mode), for detailed multiband equalization and parallel dynamic control

Retoone VST effect

A simple, midi-controlled effect

for pitch-shifting, doubling, choir, chorus.

Two modules:

• Pitch-shifting and three voices choir

• Stereo chorus

Pitch-shifting: up to three indipendent voices are generated from the input. Each voice is shifted up to 1 octave up or down, with formant control. Frequencies can be controlled by midi notes. Pan control for each voice is available, with mid-side ratio control and "humanizing" parameters.

Chorus: the additional voices can work in "chorus" mode (modulated periodic pitch shift) and can be placed on the stereo field with mid-side ratio control.

Phase equalizer: relative phase between two tracks heavily affects the sound of the sum of the two. Introducing a simple delay between the tracks cannot match the phases in each frequency band. The phase equalizer provides 5 separate controls, acting exactkly like an equalizer but controlling the phase instead of modifying the amplitude. Useful on guitars, drums, etc.

Stereo widener: a mono signal represents a "point" source in the stereo field. Giving some width to a mono signal converts it to stereo and allows to add some "dimension" to each instrument.

Stereo image control: control stereo input or mono-to-stereo converted image: stereo width, center position, "mid" level and pan, "side" level and pan. Place each instrument with its own dimension in the stereo field and control its mid-side balance.

Emulation from classic hardware is mounted on a digital frame for enhanced control.

Q796 is built starting from an emulation of a classic mastering device.

Includes three modules for stereo mastering and mixing:

- expander and pump-up compressor

- compressor with enhanced functions and negative ratio

- limiter

Note: Look-ahead function (up to 10ms)

has been added to the analog emulation.

Delay compensation is reported to host each time the switch is toggled. Verify the update in your host.

Attackease VST effect

Stereo version

Attackease is a VST effect for Windows.

It gets a mono input (i.e. a drum mic track) and separates the incoming audio in two tracks, attack and sustain, with selectable threshold and time constants.

Attack and sustain can be processed separately and then re-combined.

A limiter for the attack and a compressor for the sustain are included.

Really different from a compressor, any external processor can be used to further process attack and sustain.

• Automatable threshold (for accurate triggering)

• Included attack and sustain separate compressors

• Internal or external sidechain with internal sidechain filter (for a more accurate triggering)

• Midi output on trigger (with selectable channel and note number)

Attackease is a drum replacer, too.

Select midi channel and note number, a midi note is sent on each attack (sample accurate and with velocity information).

Process the sidechain with internal filter or with external processing for better detection.
