The upper diagram is for impulse response parameters. Drag a circle to set a parameter: amplitude envelope, lowpass filter envelope, stereo width envelope, "density"
envelope.
Lowpass filter envelope is very important for that classic realistic feeling (slowly closing
filter).
Density changes the character
of the reverb.
The sound is built from
early_reflections and late_reflections. Two knobs ("early" and "late") balance these. "Size" is for early while "length" is for
late.
Sidechained
compressor/gate. It gets control signal (sidechain input) from audio input but controls only reverb level. When "ratio" knob is to left, it is a gate, when "ratio" is to right it is a compressor.
Paragraphic equalizer
with 10 bands. It filters the whole, final, reverb sound. Dry signal
passes through untouched.
Modulation. amplitude
and frequency of pitch oscillation. Very useful to "move" the sound. The reverb isn't "chorused". It is only "pitch shifted" (like a full wet
chorus).
Incredibly
transparent results.
